Feature length fiction films in regional language
“In feature films the director is God; in documentary films God is the director.”

Silveroak Films & Entertainment has ventured into film-making with a Marathi film, Global Aadgaon, based on the lives of the farmers in a village, their struggles and hardships when their land is confiscated by the rich and the powerful. Their livelihood snatched, their protests suppressed, yet love blooms, the bond of friendship gets stronger and dreams built.
The destruction of rural culture and agricultural livelihood, shattering the social cohesion, under the guise of globalization is depicted beautifully in the film. The director has woven a perfect story that’s hard to forget. The flawless acting of every actor, the songs and the background music make it all the more touching.
